The mio-electric hand can be used by muscle signal controls or by simple or double contact. The power and speed is proportional.The design of the wrist has low profile, what allows the adaptation in long transradial amputation levels. The new control unit adjusts automaticcaly to the signal level according to the noise level and optimizes performance. The system of the mio-electric hand is easy to attach to other components, allowing a large amount of control options.The system is a new system developed for a mio-electric hand prosthesis for the upper limb. It consist of the following parts:The hand has an anatomic, natural movement in the fingers and the wrist. The wrist is very light, short and faster than most other electric hands. The hand uses mio-electric signals to control. The hand is proportional, both in speed as in power. With the advantages and the new micro processor in the contol unit the hand can be used and controlled easily. The hand has to motors, one for the movement and one for the locking.
